Dr. Trevor Hart Bay View Talks – Summer 2012

For one week each year, we are proud to present a special C. S. Lewis speaker for the Religion and Life lectures at Bay View. Our speaker for 2012 was Rev. Dr. Trevor Hart. Dr. Hart spoke about the Inklings, an influential circle of writers and friends that included C. S. Lewis.  Below are the notes from Dr. Hart's lecture.

Dr. Hart is a Professor of Divinity and Director of the Institute for Theology, Imagination and the Arts in the University of St. Andrews. The material for his lectures at Bay View is closely related to a book he is currently writing on divine and human creativity. He is an ordained priest in the Scottish Episcopal Church and enjoys the opportunity for ministry in a local parish alongside his full-time role as university teacher.
